Tenure Track Position

School of Mathematics and Statistics
Carleton University

The School of Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton University invites 
applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant 
Professor in Applied Analysis, starting July 1, 2008. Applicants should 
have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or related areas, and a strong commitment to 
excellence in research and teaching. The School is particularly interested 
in candidates who are active in the areas of Numerical Analysis and/or 
Applied Differential Equations. The successful candidate will be expected 
to develop a strong externally-funded research program, supervise 
students, as well as develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

applicant's teaching), up to four sample publications, and a teaching
