The CMS Research Committee is inviting nominations for three prize
lectureships. These prize lectureships are intended to recognize
members of the Canadian mathematical community.

Coxeter-James Prize Lectureship 2008

The Coxeter-James Prize Lectureship recognizes young mathematicians who have
made outstanding contributions to mathematical research. The selected candidate
will deliver the prize lecture at the Winter Meeting. The recipient shall be a
member of the Canadian mathematical community. Nominations may be made up to
ten years from the candidate's Ph.D: researchers having their PhD degrees
conferred in 1997 or later will be eligible for nomination in 2007 for the 2008
Coxeter-James prize. A nomination can be updated and will remain active for a
second year unless the original nomination is made in the tenth year from the
candidate's Ph.D.

Jeffery-Williams Prize Lectureship 2009

The Jeffery-Williams Prize Lectureship recognizes mathematicians who have made
outstanding contributions to mathematical research. The prize lecture will be
delivered at the Summer Meeting. The recipient shall be a member of the
Canadian mathematical community. A nomination can be updated and will remain
active for three years.

Krieger-Nelson Prize Lectureship 2009

The Krieger-Nelson Prize Lectureship recognizes outstanding research by a
