[cmath] CAIMS Cecil Graham Doctoral Dissertation Award

Nominations are invited for the CAIMS Cecil Graham
Doctoral Dissertation Award, to be given to an
outstanding PhD graduate student in Applied Mathematics
who defended a PhD thesis at a Canadian University
during the calendar year 2006.

The deadline for nominations is January 31.

for information on nominating a PhD graduate.

The award consists of a trophy, a monetary prize,
and a free one-year membership in the Society.

The winner will be invited to present a communication
based on the thesis at the next Annual Meeting of the
Society, at the Banff Conference Centre in May 2007.
Assistance with expenses to attend the meeting will
be provided.
