STATISTICS
Applications are invited for one tenure-track appointment in Statistics at
the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Mathematics and
Statistics, Faculty of Science and Engineering, to commence July 1, 2007.
The successful candidate must have a PhD, a proven record of independent
research excellence, and evidence of potential for superior teaching.
Preference will be given to candidates who can strengthen existing areas
of present and ongoing research activity. The successful candidate should
be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. All
positions at York are subject to budgetary approval. Applications must be
received by January 16, 2007. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae,
an outline of their research plan and a description of teaching interests,
and arrange for three letters of recommendation (one of which should
address teaching) to be sent directly to:
