Le CRM a le plaisir d'annoncer que le prix ACP-CRM 2006, en physique
théorique et mathématique, est décerné à

John Harnad, Université Concordia et CRM

pour ses contributions remarquables  à la théorie des systèmes
intégrables, particulièrement en relation avec la théorie de jauge, la
diffusion inverse et les matrices aléatoires.

John Harnad a été invité à faire un exposé en séance plénière au congrès
que l'ACP (Association canadienne des physiciens) qui se tiendra du 
11 au 14 juin 2006 à l'Université Brock à St. Catharines, Ontario. 
Le comité de sélection du Prix, formé conjointement par l'ACP et le CRM, 
était présidé cette année par David Brydges (UBC).



The CRM is pleased to announce that the 2006 CAP/CRM Prize in Theoretical
and Mathematical Physics is awarded to

John Harnad, Concordia University & CRM

for his deep and lasting contributions to the theory of integrable systems
with connections to gauge theory, inverse scattering and random matrices.

John Harnad has been invited to give a plenary lecture during the 2006 CAP
Canadian Association of physicists) Congress at Brock University in St.
Catharines, Ontario from June 11-14. The selection committee, appointed by
the CAP and the CRM, was chaired this year by David Brydges (UBC).
