The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at McMaster University
invites applications for a 12 month contractually limited position as an
Assistant Professor.  The starting date is September 1, 2006 and the
minimum annual salary is $51 357 (salaries currently under review).

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Mathematics with
demonstrated scholarly and pedagogical strength in any area of
Mathematics or Statistics.  Preference will be given to candidates with
a proven record of successful teaching at the university level.
