FEVRIER-JUIN 2006: le CRM lance la seconde moitie de son annee thematique sur l'Analyse en theorie des nombres incluant:

- Des ateliers sur les nouveaux developpements de la theorie classique des fonctions L (non-annulation, sous-convexite et applications) et les recents progres spectaculaires en combinatoire additive et analyse harmonique, et leurs applications en theorie des nombres. Certaines des activites du semestre thematique sont organisees conjointement avec le programme Points rationnels et entiers sur les varietes de grande dimension tenu au MSRI a l'hiver 2006. 

- Les trois Chaires Aisenstadt Manjul Bhargava (Princeton), K. Soundararajan (Michigan) et Terence Tao (UCLA); les deux premiers viennent de remporter le Prix Ramanujan decerne pour la premiere fois cette annee.

-  L'Ecole CRM-Clay en combinatoire additive qui vise les etudiants gradues, les boursiers postdoctoraux et professeurs juniors, ainsi que deux cours gradues qui ont pour objectif specifique d'introduire les etudiants aux sujets des ateliers et des periodes de concentration du semestre thematique.

- le seminaire Québec-Vermont sur la theorie des nombres qui se tient chaque semaine au CRM.

- Une quarantaine de visiteurs long terme et la participation de
 J. Bourgain, T. Gowers, et de plusieurs autres mathematiciens au confluent de l'analyse, la theorie des nombre et la combinatoire.

FEBRUARY-JUNE 2006: The CRM launches the second half of its thematic year on Analysis in Number Theory, including:

- Workshops on the new developments on the classical theory of L-functions (non-vanishing, subconvexity and applications); the recent spectacular advances in additive combinatorics and harmonic analysis, and their applications to number theory. Some of the activities of the theme year will be organized jointly with the program Rational and Integral Points on Higher-Dimensional Varieties held at MSRI in Winter 2006.

- The three Aisenstadt Chairs Manjul Bhargava (Princeton), K. Soundararajan (Michigan) and Terence Tao (UCLA); the first two have just won the Ramanujan Prize awarded for the first time this year.

-  The CRM-Clay School on Additive Combinatorics, which is primarily targeted at graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty, as well as two graduate courses  specifically intended to introduce graduate students to the subjects of the workshops and focus periods of the theme semester.

- The Quebec-Vermont Number Theory Seminar held each week at the CRM.

- About fourty long term visitors including J. Bourgain, T. Gowers and many other mathematicians working at the interface of Analysis, Number theory and Combinatorics.
