Tenure-track position in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Regina invites
applications for one tenure-track position in Mathematics at the rank of
Assistant Professor to commence July 1, 2006.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or expect to complete one by July
1, 2006.  Candidates should be committed to excellent teaching and demonstrate
strong potential for independent research in any area of Mathematics. The
Department is seeking a talented individual who can have a positive impact on
its research activities and academic programs.

Applications must include a curriculum vitae, a research plan, and the names and
addresses of at least three references.  Applicants should arrange to have their
letters of reference sent directly by the referees to the address below. At
least one of the letters should address the applicant's teaching abilities. The
application deadline is December 15, 2005.
