[cmath] Tenure-Track Position in Financial Mathematics - University of New Brunswick - Saint John

Mathematics

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of New Brunswick
in Saint John invites applications for one tenure-track position in
Financial Mathematics, to begin July 1, 2006.  The position is at the rank
of Assistant Professor (an appointment at a higher rank may be considered
for exceptional applicants) and is subject to final budgetary approval.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a strong research
record in the area of Financial Mathematics. Preference will be given to
candidates demonstrating excellence in teaching. UNB Saint John is
committed to excellence in its undergraduate and graduate programs and the
successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach at all levels
from first year through to graduate level. The Department offers
Mathematics Majors through B.Sc., B.A. and B.D.A. degree programs and a
B.Sc. degree with a joint Mathematics-Economics major and is planning to
establish a Financial Mathematics program.

Applicants should send a current curriculum vitae, including a list of
publications and a statement of research interests and teaching
philosophy, and should also arrange for three letters of reference to be
