DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS & STATISTICS

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Concordia University 
invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics, to start 
July 1, 2006.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree, a proven record of 
research, and demonstrated interest in teaching both at the undergraduate 
and graduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with 
postdoctoral experience and with a very strong research record. The 
Department is looking to complement its research strength in number 
theory, mathematical physics and geometric analysis. Of particular 
interest are the areas of algebraic or differential geometry, and partial 
differential equations.

The closing date for the applications is December 1, 2005.  Applicants 
should send a current C.V. including statements of research and teaching 
interests, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent
