Acadia University

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a
10-month contractually-limited-term position (#20901) at the rank of
Assistant Professor from August 1, 2005 to May 31, 2006. Acadia University
has a proud tradition of excellent undergraduate teaching and supports
faculty engagement in research.  The Department provides a range of
undergraduate programs for majors and honours students, a Master's program
in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, an active co-op program, and double
major programs in mathematics and statistics with other disciplines,
including biology, business, computer science, economics and physics. The
candidate should have completed a Ph.D. in some area of the mathematical
sciences. Applicants must provide evidence of a commitment to excellence
in undergraduate teaching and evidence of an active research program would
be an asset. The Department student population is gender balanced and
