MATHEMATICS

    The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of 
Guelph invites applications for a full-time tenure track position to 
start 1 July 2005 or thereafter, at the rank of Assistant Professor in 
Mathematics.  Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in mathematics and 
evidence of strong research and teaching potential at all levels.  Each 
new faculty member is expected to actively participate in our graduate 
program in applied mathematics, which currently emphasizes Dynamical 
Systems, Mathematical Biology, Numerical Analysis and Optimization.  
Priority will be given to Numerical Analysis.  Salary will be 
commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Candidates should
