2005 NCE Competition Results

I am very pleased to report that the NCE Steering Committee has recommended 
MITACS be funded for the second seven year funding cycle. The government's 
final funding decision and public announcement is expected to be made in 
the September time frame. In the meantime we have been asked not to 
communicate this news outside of our community and to make no public 
announcements. We will pass along more details as we receive them.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the MITACS researchers, partners 
and students for their support and for helping us make the network a 
success. MITACS is truly a collaborative effort which shows by the breadth 
and quality of the programs that we offer.
