Tenure-Track Position - University of Waterloo Pure Math

The Department of Pure Mathematics at the University of Waterloo 
invites applications for a tenure-track position starting July 1, 
2005. The Department is particularly interested in candidates with 
research interests in algebra, geometry or topology, though 
outstanding candidates in all areas of pure mathematics will be 
considered.

A candidate must have a Ph.D. by the start of the appointment. 
Postdoctoral experience is preferred.  An appointment will be offered 
only to someone with outstanding research and teaching 
qualifications. 

Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, together with the 
names of at least three referees, and should arrange for letters of 
reference to be sent directly from the referees.

The deadline for applications is December 1, 2004.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however Canadians 
and permanent residents will be given priority. The University of 
Waterloo encourages applications from all qualified individuals,
