Dear MITACS Board members,

I am pleased to announce that Nassif Ghoussoub, one of the MITACS founders 
will be awarded a "Doctorat Honoris Causa" from the University of Paris 
this June. This is in recognition of Nassif's research accomplishments in 
mathematics and for his many contributions to the discipline worldwide, 
through his role in  the founding of PIMS, MITACS and BIRS. Please join me 
in congratulating Nassif for this well deserved honour.
