Faculty Lecturer in Statistics
Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences

The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at
the University of Alberta invites applications for the
position of Faculty Lecturer in Statistics. This is a two-
year position, with the possibility of reappointment. The
duties normally consist of teaching three undergraduate
courses in Statistics and/or Mathematics in each Fall and
Winter Term, and one course in Intersession. Requirements
are a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Statistics or a related discipline,
and experience in teaching undergraduate courses in
Statistics. Preference will be given to applicants with
experience in teaching Statistics.

Applications should include a curriculum vita and a teaching
profile outlining experience and/or interests. Candidates
should arrange for at least three confidential letters of
