CMS Studc Atlantic Regional Representative

The Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee (CMS Studc) is looking for a proactive mathematics student from an institution in one of the Atlantic provinces interested in joining the Committee.

Joining Studc is an excellent opportunity to learn about the organization of mathematics in Canada and participate in the committee’s numerous projects, which include running student events at semi-annual CMS meetings, producing the national student publication Notes from the Margin, overseeing the organization of the Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference, as well as financially supporting local student math conferences and seminars. Le comité étudiant de la société mathématique du Canada est à la recherche d'un étudiant en mathématiques, dynamique et intéressé, provenant d'une institution de la région atlantique à faire partie du comité.

Être membre du Studc est une excellente opportunité d'en apprendre davantage sur l'organisation des mathématiques au Canada et de participer à la réalisation des nombreux projets parrainés par le comité. Parmi ceux-ci, il y a l'organisation d'événements pour les étudiants lors des réunions biannuelles de la SMC, la rédaction de la publication étudiante Notes from the Margin, la supervision de l'organisation du Congrès canadien des étudiants en mathématiques ainsi que le support aux séminaires et aux conférences en mathématiques organisés par des étudiants à travers le pays.
