The Long Range Plan for Mathematical and Statistical Sciences Research in Canada was launched on December 8, at a special session of the CMS Winter Meeting.  News about the launch and a copy of the plan are available at http://longrangeplan.ca. Hard copies will be mailed to all department chairs this week.

Thanks are due to all the members of our research communities who provided input and comments during our consultation process.  We are pleased with the result, and we hope you are too.
