Quest University, a liberal arts college, is offering a full-time position 
in mathematics subject to budgetary approval. Quest is a new venture in 
Canadian liberal arts education which emphasizes interdisciplinary 
pursuits and self-directed study; thus, although any disciplinary 
specialty will be considered, an ability to cross disciplinary lines will 
be welcomed. Quest's academic curriculum is offered on the block plan (one 
course at a time). The successful applicant will have a PhD or equivalent 
degree, will be expected to teach six courses per year, and will also 
serve the university through scholarship and administrative duties. Review 
of completed files will commence Dec. 20 or until the position is filled.
