Tenure-track position in Mathematics
The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics in the Faculty of Arts
and Science at Nipissing University invites applications for a
probationary tenure-track position in Mathematics at the rank of Assistant
Professor, beginning July 1, 2009, subject to budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will have a completed PhD and a demonstrated
ability for excellence in both research and teaching. While preference
will be given to candidates with a research specialty in Analysis, Algebra
or an area that complements Topology, candidates in all areas will also be
considered. The department has a strong research focus, especially in
Topology.
A letter of application plus a research agenda, statement of teaching
philosophy, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation and
representative teaching evaluations (if available) should be sent to:
